Joseph Livolsi is a Licensed Paralegal at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP with the Labour and Employment Law practice group, serving many clients across Ontario.

Prior to joining Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Joseph interned at a leading labour and employment law firm in Hamilton, Ontario. During this time, Joseph assisted with client matters in workplace issues including:

• Wrongful dismissal;
• Severance pay in Ontario;
• Employment standards (Ontario);
• Human rights;
• Employment contract and policy formation;
• Collective bargaining agreements; and
• The prosecution and defense of regulatory proceedings under the Provincial Offences Act.

Joseph is committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.  He is a dedicated advocate who believes in providing access to legal services. His approach focuses on listening to client needs, identifying legal issues, and providing for cost-effective and pragmatic solutions.

In his spare time, Joseph is a volunteer soccer official and helps promote Canadian amateur soccer talent. He is also a loyal fan of Toronto’s professional sports teams and enjoys spending time with his family and two Rottweilers, Titan and Remy.
