Jon Davidescu is a B.C. employment lawyer and Associate with Samfiru Tumarkin LLP’s Labour and Employment Law practice group, serving clients across the province.

Working through the firm’s Vancouver office, he provides support on a broad range of employment matters, including:

• Wrongful dismissals
• Constructive dismissals
• Dismissals for cause and without cause
• Severance pay negotiations and packages
• Employee misclassification
• Workplace harassment and sexual harassment
• Discrimination at work
• Human rights issues
• Employment contract review and drafting

Prior to joining Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Jon worked at a poverty law clinic in downtown Victoria called the Law Centre. A fierce advocate, he is committed to securing favourable results for his clients.

Jon has successfully appeared at both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court levels of British Columbia. He recognizes that every case is unique — requiring various strategies to achieve a positive outcome at either the pre-litigation or litigation levels.

Outside of the office, Jon enjoys travelling, working out, watching movies, and visiting local breweries.
