Experience
Donna Clark is an employment lawyer in Ontario. She works in association with Samfiru Tumarkin LLP’s Toronto and Ottawa employment lawyers by consulting with employees and employers with respect to all workplace issues.
Donna assists employees and employers on a broad range of employment matters, including:
- Terminations for cause and without cause
- Wrongful dismissals
- Constructive dismissals
- Severance pay negotiations
- Employment contract review and drafting
- Human rights concerns
- Disciplinary procedures/policies
Before joining the firm in September 2023, Donna was a sole practitioner, providing employment advice along with litigation advice and research.
Prior to becoming a sole practitioner, she articled and practised in the litigation group of a national law firm.
Outside of the office, Donna enjoys writing song lyrics, gardening, and baking.
Education
Donna obtained her Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law.
Prior to law school, she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Laurentian University.
