⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After 7 years’ employment term with a company, I suddenly found myself facing two (2) permanent disabilities, unable to be accommodated in my primary position, and presented with a severance offer or to accept a weekend part-time position without benefits. I’d been laid off once before in my career, because of company restructuring and my job was eliminated, I received a six (6) months severance package with benefits without hiring a lawyer but this time it was different; even though my employment was also after 7 years’ this employment ended with me needing legal advice and hiring a lawyer for consultation, and then handle the negations for settling my Severance Package offer.
