Meet Our Law Students

Daniela Rammeloo
Daniela is an articling student at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP who recently obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan.
With a long-standing interest in workplace law and dispute resolution, Daniela was drawn to the firm’s reputation for providing strategic, practical advice to both employers and employees.
Before law school, Daniela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. Her undergraduate studies helped lay the foundation for her interest in advocacy, justice, and systemic issues within the workplace.
During law school, Daniela developed a strong interest in labour and employment, administrative law, and human rights. These courses deepened her understanding of workplace legal frameworks and reinforced her commitment to advocating for fairness and accountability in professional environments.
In her 2L summer, Daniela volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) — working directly with clients facing a range of legal issues, from criminal charges to tenancy disputes. She managed client files, conducted legal research, drafted submissions, and represented individuals in court. This experience helped her develop strong advocacy, communication, and case management skills.
Daniela is passionate about helping clients navigate complex workplace issues and is excited to begin her legal career at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP.
Outside the office, she enjoys practicing yoga, taking spin classes, connecting with nature, and getting lost in a good book.

Pareea Mohammad
Pareea is an articling student at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. After completing both her 1L and 2L summer placements with the firm, she returns with hands-on experience in employment, disability, and personal injury law, and a strong familiarity with the firm’s workflow and culture.
Pareea earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School — focusing on civil litigation. She held multiple executive roles on student committees, including Osgoode’s Labour and Employment Law Society, and excelled in moots, mock trials, and negotiation competitions.
Pareea also completed both the Trial Advocacy and Lawyer as Negotiator Workshops, developing the skills necessary to become a strong oral advocate while practicing negotiation with experienced litigators.
Prior to law school, she completed an Honours Double Major in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Western University and worked with several not-for-profit organizations, supporting a diverse range of clients. She also guided and advocated for others in navigating challenges — bringing the same clarity, advocacy, and problem-solving skills to her work as a lawyer.
Outside of work, Pareea enjoys practicing martial arts and exploring new ways to make the perfect iced latte.

Anastasia Buchvostov
Anastasia is an articling student at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. She completed her Master of Laws (LLM) in Canadian Common Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Anastasia previously earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Queen Mary University of London — graduating with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from York University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received multiple academic awards.
Anastasia has developed extensive legal experience across multiple practice areas. She has worked on complex criminal matters, including cases involving assault, kidnapping, murder, wrongful convictions, and North America’s largest drug prosecution.
In addition to her criminal law background, Anastasia has supported civil proceedings and contributed to corporate transactions — giving her a well-rounded perspective on the law.
Outside of her legal career, Anastasia is passionate about wellness and holistic living. She enjoys yoga, pilates (including reformer training), and learning about homeopathic remedies.

Joshua Carrasco
Joshua is a returning 2L summer student at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. He has a long-standing passion for employment law and is eager to continue learning from the lawyers and paralegals who are making waves across Canada.
