Woman, 61, dead after 2 SUVs collide west of Kitchener
Incident details
A 61-year-old woman is dead and two men are injured following a collision in Wilmot Township—west of Kitchener.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said a Ford SUV collided with a Hyundai SUV at the intersection of Bleams Road and Nafziger Road around 9:20 p.m. ET on Oct. 24.
- The woman, who was a passenger in the Hyundai SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a 60-year-old man, was rushed to hospital.
- The driver of the Ford SUV, a 55-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with significant injuries.
Investigation updates
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. WRPS say charges are anticipated.
