Teenager rushed to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Cambridge
Incident details
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious pedestrian collision in Cambridge involving a 16-year-old.
The incident took place at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Dundas Street South before 5:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 27.
- Police said in a news release that the teenager was rushed to hospital in serious condition. Their injuries aren’t considered to be life-threatening.
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with officers.
- Traffic was disrupted in the area for several hours.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
