Serious motorcycle accident in Scarborough leaves rider hospitalized

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision that occurred in Scarborough on at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. Toronto police responded to the scene at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Warden Avenue following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
The motorcyclist, a male in his 40s, sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency services quickly transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene following the incident and is cooperating with the authorities. At this time, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
