- The incident took place at the intersection of King Street East and Humber Lea Road just after 8am ET on May 21.
- According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), 1 woman was rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries. The other woman struck was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
- No injuries were reported for the 12 children that were on the school bus at the time of the collision.
