Scarborough crash: Driver injured after truck crashes into garage

Late Saturday night, a pickup truck collided with a garage in Scarborough, resulting in injuries to the driver. The incident occurred around 9:11 p.m. on Staines Road, near the intersection of Morningside Avenue and Finch Avenue East.

The driver of the Ford F150 was transported to the hospital. Authorities have reported that the injuries sustained are not life-threatening. No other individuals were injured in this incident.
Investigation
Police and firefighters responded promptly to the scene. The front end of the Ford F150 was found embedded in the garage, surrounded by broken stones. Toronto Fire Services dispatched a crew to assess and ensure the structural safety of the affected home.
At this time, police have stated that it is too early to determine the cause of the collision. No charges have been filed as the investigation continues. Toronto Police are asking any witnesses to contact them.
