Regent Park crash: 3 arrested following hit-and-run involving TTC Streetcar
Incident details
On Sunday afternoon, a hit-and-run collision occurred in Toronto’s Regent Park area. According to police a driver crashed into a TTC streetcar before hitting another vehicle head on. The crash took place near the intersection of Gerrard and River streets at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Victim and arrest information
Toronto police responded to the scene and initially reported that four occupants of the vehicle involved in the crash fled on foot. However, updated information confirmed that three individuals are now in custody. Police do not believe that anyone else is outstanding in connection with the incident.
Paramedics told CTV that while they assessed at least one person at the scene, no details regarding the condition or extent of can be provided at this time.
Investigation updates
Police have clarified that there was no pursuit involved prior to the collision. Furthermore, Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is not involved in the investigation.
