Pedestrian critically injured in Richmond Street crash, causing power outage near Western University

A serious crash occurred on Richmond Street near Epworth Avenue, just outside the gates of Western University, early Thursday morning. The collision, which involved two vehicles, took place around 2:30 a.m., leaving a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. One of the drivers involved in the crash was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
As a result of the crash, both the northbound and southbound lanes of Richmond Street were closed for an ongoing police investigation. Authorities have urged drivers to avoid the area, as there is no confirmed reopening time for the road.
