A fatal collision involving a pedestrian occurred on Saturday night in Oshawa, Ontario. The incident took place on Highway 401 westbound near Stevenson Road around 8:30 p.m. According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers responded to the scene following reports of the collision.
- The pedestrian, identified as a 22-year-old man, was transported to a hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Authorities temporarily closed several lanes on Highway 401 westbound, along with the northbound ramp from Stevenson Road, to facilitate the investigation. These closures remained in effect for part of the night but have since been lifted. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
