Pedestrian dies after being struck by motorcycle on Hamilton Mountain

A 67-year-old pedestrian was fatally injured in a collision involving a motorcycle on Mountain Brow Boulevard, Hamilton, on Sunday. The incident occurred at approximately 2:42 p.m. as the pedestrian was crossing the road.

Victim information
The pedestrian was crossing Mountain Brow Boulevard when he was struck by an eastbound Harley Davidson motorcycle. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, the man unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after the accident.
Accident circumstances
According to witnesses:
- The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound, following another vehicle around a curve from Limeridge Road.
- The pedestrian reportedly ran from the north shoulder to the south shoulder, attempting to cross between the motor vehicle and the motorcycle, leading to the collision.
- Hamilton police have confirmed that speed was not a contributing factor in the accident.
