Your Rights After a Car Accident in Brampton
If you were injured in a Brampton car accident, you may be entitled to accident benefits under Ontario’s Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). These benefits can help cover income replacement, medical treatment, and rehabilitation expenses — regardless of who was at fault.
You may also have the option to sue the at-fault driver for additional damages, including pain and suffering, lost wages, and out-of-pocket costs. It’s important to act quickly, as Ontario has strict time limits for making a car accident claim — and some insurance deadlines are only days after the crash.
The value of a car accident settlement in Ontario will depend on factors such as the severity of your injuries, how they impact your ability to work, and any future care you may require.
