On Saturday morning, a serious two-vehicle collision occurred in North York. Emergency crews responded to the scene at Don Mills Road and Gateway Boulevard at 11:05 a.m. following reports of a crash.
Victim information
The collision involved a 2017 silver Infiniti and a 2009 black Infiniti, both traveling south on Don Mills Road.
- For reasons still under investigation, the silver Infiniti collided with the black Infiniti.
- The black Infiniti, driven by a 64-year-old man, veered off the road and struck a light pole.
- The driver of the silver Infiniti, a 30-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre.
- The driver of the black Infiniti was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
