Motorcyclist killed in collision near CFB Borden in Essa Township

A tragic motorcycle crash occurred Saturday night near County Road 10 and 20th Sideroad, east of CFB Borden, resulting in the death of a 61-year-old man from Essa Township. The collision occured around 9:40 p.m. and involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.

Victim information
Unfortunately, emergency responders announced that the 61-year-old motorcyclist passed away at the scene. The driver of the passenger vehicle and a passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigation updates
- The Nottawasga OPP confirmed the incident and stated that County Road 10 was closed for the majority of the night.
- The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team was present at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
