Motorcyclist hospitalized after colliding with Dodge Caravan in Cambridge
Incident details
A 38-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision with a Dodge Caravan in Cambridge.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said in a news release that the incident took place on Speedsville Road near Middle Block Road at approximately 6:50 p.m. ET on Oct. 24.
- A Kawasaki motorcycle, travelling southbound on Speedsville Road, reportedly crossed into the northbound lane—colliding with a Dodge Caravan that was being operated by a 55-year-old woman.
- Officials say the motorcyclist was “ejected” from the Kawasaki and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation updates
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. WRPS say charges are anticipated.
Anyone with information on the incident, including cellphone and dashcam footage, is being asked to contact police.
