- Officials posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the incident — involving a minivan, snow plow, and truck transporting scrap metal — took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway “where collectors merge to express” before 1:15 p.m. ET on Feb. 27.
- A photo of the scene shows the scrap metal truck on its side — with metal debris all over the road.
- OPP said a female passenger in the minivan was taken to local hospital as a precaution.
