Man, 22, dead after head-on collision on Hwy. 7 west of Perth

Incident details

A 22-year-old man is dead following a head-on collision with a tractor trailer on Highway 7 west of Perth.

• Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said crews were called to Highway 7 at Old Brooke Road, near Anglican Church Road, shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
• A car heading westbound reportedly crossed the centre line and collided with a tractor trailer heading eastbound.
• The man, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer didn’t suffer serious injuries.

Investigation updates

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
