Highway 404 Crash: 19-year-old dead after fatal rollover in East Gwillimbury

East Gwillimbury, ON – A 19-year-old man from Keswick tragically lost his life in a rollover accident on Highway 404. The incident occurred north of Queensville Sideroad.

Incident Details

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Aurora responded to the collision on the northbound lanes of Highway 404. According to the initial investigation, the vehicle was traveling northbound when it veered off the highway and rolled over, resulting in the fatality of the sole occupant.

Update #1: Hwy 404 NB at Queensville Sideroad in #EastGwillimbury is expected to be closed until approx 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning for the collision investigation. ^nm

Victim Information

The deceased has been identified as a 19-year-old man from Keswick. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation and Road Closure

The OPP Traffic Support Unit provided assistance in the investigation. Due to the severity of the accident, Highway 404 at Queensville Sideroad was closed for approximately six hours to allow for a thorough investigation.
