Hamilton collision leaves one dead, three injured on Dundas Street East
Incident details
Hamilton police responded to multiple 911 calls just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, reporting a serious collision at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Avonsyde Boulevard in Waterdown. The crash involved a Dodge Ram truck and a Toyota, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.

Victim information
The 42-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram truck was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The three occupants of the Toyota were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Investigation updates
Hamilton police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the crash. Following the incident, Dundas Street East was closed in both directions from Mallard Trail to Evans Road for several hours. The road has since been reopened.
