Motorcyclist, 42, Dead After Collision Near Banquet Hall in Scarborough
A 42-year-old motorcyclist is dead following a 3-vehicle collision near The Estate Banquet & Event Centre in Scarborough on May 25, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place in the area of Markham Road and Nugget Avenue, north of Sheppard Avenue East, just before 2pm ET on May 25.
- According to officials, a 53-year-old woman driving a Ford Fusion made a left turn to enter a driveway on Nugget Avenue and struck an oncoming motorcycle. She then drove into a stationary third vehicle in the driveway with a 25-year-old man inside.
- The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Investigation Updates
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
