Motorcyclist, 42, Dead After Collision Near Banquet Hall in Scarborough

A 42-year-old motorcyclist is dead following a 3-vehicle collision near The Estate Banquet & Event Centre in Scarborough on May 25, 2026.

What Happened?

• The incident took place in the area of Markham Road and Nugget Avenue, north of Sheppard Avenue East, just before 2pm ET on May 25.
• According to officials, a 53-year-old woman driving a Ford Fusion made a left turn to enter a driveway on Nugget Avenue and struck an oncoming motorcycle. She then drove into a stationary third vehicle in the driveway with a 25-year-old man inside.
• The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
