Truck Driver, 30, Dead After 3-Vehicle Hwy. 403 Crash Near Brantford

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 403 near Brantford on May 25, 2026.

What Happened?

• Around 5pm ET on May 25, emergency crews responded to reports of a crash involving 2 tractor-trailers and a pickup truck in the westbound lanes of the highway near near Rest Acres Road.
• According to reports, a 30-year-old man from St. Thomas — driving 1 of the tractor-trailers — has been pronounced dead. The driver of the other tractor-trailer was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
• No injuries have been reported for the occupants of the pickup truck.
• The westbound lanes of Highway 403 were temporarily closed between Rest Acres Road and Middle Townline Road.
