- The incident took place at Cedarview Road and Kennevale Drive — just west of Mary Honeywell Elementary School — around 8:20am ET on March 23.
- According to Ottawa police, the driver of a pickup truck, a 19-year-old male, fled the scene and was later arrested.
- On March 24, MPPs held a moment of silence at Queen’s Park to remember the victim, identified by family as Peter Clark.

The driver of the pickup truck has been charged with “accident resulting in death.” Officials confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.
