Man Dead, Woman Critical Following Serious Airport Rd. Crash in Brampton
A man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after a white Ford SUV collided with a transport truck in Brampton on April 14, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place in the southbound lanes of Airport Road, just north of Williams Parkway, before 3:30pm ET on April 14.
- A photo of the scene shows the SUV slightly wedged under the rear of the transport truck.
- The driver of the SUV, a man, was rushed to a trauma centre. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
- Officials airlifted the sole passenger in the SUV, a woman, to a trauma centre. She remains in life-threatening condition.
- “We would like to extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to the [family of the deceased] and all those that are impacted by this tragic incident,” Peel police told reporters.

The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation.
