32-year-old dead after head-on Hwy. 7 crash west of Peterborough

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision on Highway 7, west of Peterborough.
- Emergency crews responded to reports of a head-on crash on the highway, between Parkhill Road and Lily Lake Road, after 6 p.m. ET on Jan. 15.
- One of the drivers, a 32-year-old, has been pronounced dead. The other motorist remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
- Highway 7 between Lily Lake Road and Parkhill Road was closed for several hours.
Investigation updates
The cause of the fatal two-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
