Driver, 61, dead following early-morning crash northeast of Cornwall

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision in South Glengarry — northeast of Cornwall.
- The incident took place on County Road 25, near Alexandria, shortly after 6 a.m. ET on March 25.
- OPP said one of the drivers, a 61-year-old man from South Glengarry, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- No serious injuries were reported for the other driver.
- A section of County Road 25 near Chapel Road reopened around 12:30 p.m. ET.

The cause of the fatal two-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
