A seven-year-old child is dead after being struck by a vehicle near London’s Lambeth neighbourhood.
- London police say the incident took place near the intersection of Longwoods Road and Murray Road just before 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 16.
- The child, who was reportedly getting off a school bus at the time of the crash, was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, they later succumbed to their injuries.
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
- Longwoods Road was temporarily closed between Colonel Talbot Road and Kilborne Road.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
