Bath Road Crash: Motorcycle driver and passenger killed in head-on collision in Kingston, ON
Incident details
A tragic head-on collision on Bath Road in west Kingston resulted in the deaths of a motorcycle driver and passenger on Wednesday. The accident occurred around 11 p.m. between Gardiners Road and Tanner Drive, approximately seven kilometers northwest of downtown Kingston.
According to a Kingston Police news release, the motorcycle, traveling eastbound, fell and slid into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a Ford Escape. The 32-year-old male driver and 22-year-old female passenger of the motorcycle were fatally injured in the crash. Their identities have not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Investigation updates
The driver of the Ford Escape remained at the scene and has been cooperating with police.
- A blue Jeep may have been involved in events leading up to the crash.
- Video surveillance from the area shows the Jeep making a left-hand turn from Days Road onto Bath Road, heading west, and then traveling east on Bath Road towards Gardiners Road just moments before the collision.
- The Jeep, which had several male occupants, was last seen continuing east on Bath Road towards Tanner Drive.
- Police are sharing video of the Jeep here.
