5 people seriously hurt following single-vehicle crash in Lowertown
Incident details
Five people have been hospitalized after a single-vehicle collision in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood.
- Police responded to the area of Dalhousie Street and Boteler Street around 2:50 a.m. ET on Nov. 17.
- Paramedics say four adults and one teenager under the age of 18 were taken to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) with “very serious” injuries.
- The Fatal Collision Investigation Unit has been called in. However, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
