1 driver dead, 1 seriously hurt after pickup trucks collide near Walkerton
Incident details
A serious motor vehicle collision involving two pickup trucks near Walkerton has turned fatal.
- The South Bruce detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a crash at Bruce Road 20 and Concession 2 around 8:45 a.m. ET on Nov. 19.
- A photo of the scene shows a silver pickup truck in a ditch and a dark-coloured pickup truck with significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
- Both drivers were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. However, one of the drivers, a 76-year-old, was later pronounced dead.

Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
