68-year-old woman in critical condition, struck by school bus in Oshawa

Incident details
A 68-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a school bus in Oshawa. The incident took place in the area of Simcoe Street South and Mill Street at approximately 2:45 p.m. ET on April 23.
“[The] 68-year-old female was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries,” Durham police said in a news release.
“There were no injuries to anyone on the school bus. The driver of the bus remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.”

Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
