4 pedestrians hurt, struck by sedan at Toronto Metropolitan University

Incident details
Toronto police are investigating a hit-and-run collision at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) that left four pedestrians injured.
- Officers posted on X (formerly Twitter) that they received reports of multiple people being struck by a vehicle on the Nelson Mandela Walk at TMU — around Gerrard Street East and Yonge Street — just before 2 p.m. ET on April 15.
- Two pedestrians were taken to hospital. The severity of the injuries suffered by all of the pedestrians involved hasn’t been disclosed.
- A “dark green sedan” with a “cracked windshield” was last seen travelling eastbound on Gould Street towards Church Street.
