What’s going on at Centennial College?

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is investigating reports that Centennial College is planning to eliminate more than a quarter of its workforce this spring.

Our firm has been contacted by several employees at the Toronto-based college — claiming they’ve been let go as part of this reduction.

The bombshell update comes as the post-secondary institution is closing its East York campus and moving affected programs to its Scarborough location.

President Craig Stephenson said in a statement earlier this month that Centennial College is grappling with “stagnant government funding and a decline in international student enrolments induced by federal policy changes.”
