Driver, 52, dead after multi-vehicle Hwy. 401 crash in Mississauga

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal four-vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Mississauga.
The incident took place in the westbound collector lanes of the highway around Highway 410 before 8:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 10.
- OPP said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that a driver, a 52-year-old man from Acton, was “pronounced deceased after a collision with three other vehicles.”
- A photo of the scene shows significant damage to a white sedan, dark-coloured SUV, and a grey pickup truck off the roadway.
- Officials didn’t specify which vehicle was operated by the deceased individual.
- The westbound collector lanes of Highway 401 were temporarily closed at Highway 410 as crews cleaned up debris.
