Driver of alleged stolen vehicle charged after 3-car crash in Brampton

The driver of a vehicle that was allegedly stolen is facing charges after a three-car crash in Brampton — approaching Vaughan.
The incident took place at the intersection of Queen Street and Highway 50 before 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 21.
- Peel police told reporters that three people were inside the alleged stolen vehicle.
- The driver of the vehicle, a man, was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment. His injuries aren’t life-threatening.
- The two passengers fled the scene. Suspect descriptions haven’t been provided.
- Officials say another person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear if they were in one of the other vehicles or a pedestrian at the intersection.
