A child has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle near London’s Lambeth neighbourhood.

  • London police say the incident took place near the intersection of Longwoods Road and Murray Road just before 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 16.
  • Officials say the child’s injuries are life-threatening.
  • The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
  • Longwoods Road was temporarily closed between Colonel Talbot Road and Kilborne Road.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
