Fiery single-vehicle crash in Bracebridge claims life of driver
Incident details
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision in Bracebridge.
- Officials say a driver stuck a tree in the area of Stephenson Road 1 East and Bonnie Lake Road before 2 a.m. ET on Nov. 17.
- The vehicle, which was reportedly heading eastbound, burst into flames after striking the tree.
- OPP say the driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
- Motorists were detoured around the area for several hours.
Investigation updates
The cause of the single-vehicle collision remains under investigation.
