2 people taken to hospital after Hyundai and Kia collide in Kitchener
Incident details
Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Kitchener, Ontario.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said in a news release that a Hyundai and a Kia collided at the intersection of Bridgeport Road and Lancaster Street West around 6 a.m. ET on Oct. 31.
- The injuries of both drivers, a 38-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, aren’t considered to be life-threatening.
- Lancaster Street West was closed for several hours so that hydro crews could make repairs.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Charges are anticipated.
Anyone with information on the incident, including cellphone and dashcam footage, is asked to contact police.
