Motorcyclist injured following collision with Ford pickup in Waterloo

A 24-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision in Waterloo.
The incident took place on Regina Street North near Columbia Street West around 11:10 p.m. ET on Oct. 9.
- The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) received multiple reports that the collision involved a motorcycle and a Ford pickup truck.
- Paramedics took the motorcyclist, from Woolwich Township, to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- The driver of the Ford pickup truck, a 37-year-old female from Cambridge, wasn’t injured.
Investigation updates
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision. Charges are anticipated.
Regina Street North was closed for several hours. However, roads in the area have since reopened.
