A fatal head-on collision occurred on Highway 7 north of Perth on Monday afternoon, resulting in the tragic death of an Ottawa woman. The crash took place at approximately 1:45 p.m. near Gardiner Road, situated between Perth and Innisville, Ontario.

Victim information
The victim, a 77-year-old woman driving an SUV, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver involved in the collision, a 49-year-old man from Mississippi Mills, was operating a pickup truck. He did not sustain serious injuries. Both drivers were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.
