Hamilton Spectator – Former Black Forest Inn servers file human rights complaints
Three former servers who worked at Hamilton’s iconic Black Forest Inn for decades are accusing the restaurant’s new owners of discrimination based on their age.
The women, aged 49 to 64, filed human rights complaints last year that allege that their former employer reduced their hours at the restaurant on King Street East, and replaced them with younger employees.
Brigitte Evans, Anele Murauskas and Ilda Rosser are being represented by paralegal Melanie Henriques of employment law firm Samfiru Tumarkin LLP.
