London Drugs Reportedly Cut 80 BC Jobs in July, Part of 2026 Restructuring
Has London Drugs Cut Jobs in 2026?
London Drugs has reportedly eliminated approximately 80 jobs in British Columbia (BC) in July 2026 — affecting full-time and part-time roles.
“These changes are intended to help ensure London Drugs remains competitive and positioned for the long term,” the retailer said in an internal letter to staff that was seen by Daily Hive.
A long-service employee claimed “morale is low” and many workers are “upset that they are losing friends” due to the restructuring.
The workforce reduction comes just months after London Drugs closed a busy location in the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood after 40 years of operation.
