What Happened?

  • The incident took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway between Lawson Road and Port Union Road before 9:40am ET on July 17.
  • According to officials, a teen and a child were among the 4 individuals hurt — their injuries vary from minor to serious.
  • Eastbound lanes of Highway 2A were closed at Lawson Road.

The cause of the multi-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
