• According to officials, a blue Honda Civic collided with a red Buick sedan in the eastbound lanes of the highway — resulting in the Honda Civic crossing into the westbound lanes and being struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer.
• The driver of the Honda Civic, a 24-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
• No injuries were reported for the occupants of the Buick or the tractor-trailer.
• Both eastbound and westbound lanes of the Linc around Upper James Street reopened before 7:30am ET on July 9.
