What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of McVean Drive and Countryside Drive around 10:45pm ET on June 27.
- According to Peel police, 1 vehicle was driving southbound on McVean Drive and the second was driving eastbound on Countryside Drive.
- The passenger of the vehicle travelling southbound on McVean Drive, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- 3 of the 5 injured individuals are in critical condition.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
