Is Lucid Motors Cutting More Jobs in 2026?

Yes. Lucid Motors is reportedly planning to eliminate approximately 18% of its workforce as part of an ongoing restructuring in 2026.

The latest round of cuts — it’s second of the year — comes as the electric vehicle (EV) maker works toward releasing its first mass-market vehicle: the Lucid Cosmos SUV.


Impact on Canadian Staff

It remains unclear if any Canadian employees at Lucid Motors are being let go.

According to LinkedIn, the company currently employs dozens of workers in the country.
