- The incident took place in the area of Bathurst Street and Avenal Drive, south of Eglinton Avenue West, just before 4pm ET on June 17.
- According to officials, the 3-year-old child was rushed to a local trauma centre in serious condition.
- Minor injuries were reported for the other 2 pedestrians struck by the red Ford pickup truck.
