78-Year-Old Woman Dead After SUV, Rental Van Collide South of Ottawa

What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of County Road 43 at County Road 1 around 11am ET on May 23.
- According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a passenger in the SUV — a 78-year-old woman from Winchester — was rushed to hospital. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was later pronounced dead.
- No other injuries have been reported at this time.
